Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Lead Food Service Supervisor to manage kitchen operations inside a correctional facility and train inmate labor in meal preparation using standard recipes and procedures.

You will report to a Food Service Director and work onsite inside a jail setting, ensuring safety, sanitation, and compliance with institution requirements. Eligible candidates have 1+ year in food service and the ability to lift 50 lb and stand long hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent experience.
• 1 year or more of experience working in a food service role.
• Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb.
• Ability to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Independently prepare, assist, or instruct inmate labor in the preparation of a variety of food items following standards.
• Handle production and sanitation paperwork essential to comply with facility procedures.
• Ensure cleaning and maintenance of all food service equipment and work areas; follow safety and sanitation practices.
• Follow institution requirements in all preparation, oversight, and serving of meals.
• Follow assigned institution housekeeping and safety practices as instructed.
• Store food and supplies following instructions.
• Perform in high-volume food production facilities preparing food for large groups.
• Other responsibilities as determined by needs.
