Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to manage inmate labor and kitchen teams inside a correctional facility and ensure meals meet recipes and nutritional needs.

You will report to a Food Service Director and work on-site in a jail environment, emphasizing safe food handling, teamwork, and flexibility in daily operations. This role includes training staff and adapting to shifting meal schedules.

Qualifications

• Required: high school diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age.
• Preferred: prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and team members in the kitchen during food prep and service.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils and equipment to cook and portion meals per recipes and nutrition needs.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for staff and inmates.
• Stand for extended periods and perform lifting/bending as required.
