Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee inmate labor and kitchen operations inside a correctional facility. You will prepare and serve a variety of meals, report to a Food Service Director, and work on-site within the jail environment.

The ideal candidate will manage staff, ensure compliance with food handling regulations, and adapt quickly to changes while working as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age.
• Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and team members in the kitchen during food prep and food service shifts.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils/equipment to cook food according to recipes and portion sizes.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for other employees/inmates.
• Physical demands include lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods.
• Be able to stand and be on your feet for much of the scheduled shift.
