Job summary

Synechron, a global consulting firm, seeks a Lead Software Engineer in Seattle to guide software delivery across initiatives. You’ll work with architects, design prototypes, and produce UML models while overseeing multiple projects and ensuring quality and timely releases.

The role requires strong Java/J2EE, Spring, RESTful services, and experience with large-scale enterprise apps. Hybrid work options and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, SQL in enterprise apps.
• Strong OO design and programming skills in Java.
• RESTful services using Spring Framework, Spring Boot; SOAP Webservices.
• Kafka for online data publishing/consuming; Junit tests; performance tuning.
• Oracle SQL/PLSQL and NoSQL Cassandra; IDEs like Eclipse/IntelliJ; Maven, Git.
• CI/CD pipelines, Splunk, SOAP UI; familiarity with high-volume distributed systems.
• Experience with Agile software development and SDLC; TDD knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and architects to implement solutions.
• Create prototypes to prove designs and prepare UML diagrams.
• Review artifacts to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Lead or supervise initiatives across software development lifecycles.
• Develop, test, maintain, and debug enterprise applications.
• Provide technical direction and system architecture input.
• Coordinate with external teams to deliver on time and budget, guide project managers.
