Job summary

Hussey Copper is seeking a Production Supervisor–Melting & Casting to lead daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safety and environmental compliance while driving operational efficiency. This role collaborates with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Operations to meet production goals and deliver world-class copper products for North America.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of leadership in heavy manufacturing, strong Lean and problem-solving skills, and experience with ERP systems and MS

Qualifications

3+ years of manufacturing leadership or production supervision.
Experience in melting, casting, foundry or heavy industrial manufacturing preferred.
Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of Lean, CI, Root Cause Analysis, and Safety Leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise daily Melting & Casting manufacturing operations.
Promote a culture where Safety Always Comes First.
Coach, mentor, and develop hourly production employees.
Drive employee accountability, engagement, and performance.
Monitor production schedules to meet customer delivery commitments.
Improve manufacturing efficiency, productivity, and equipment utilization.
Partner with Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality to resolve production challenges.
