Hussey Copper is seeking a Production Supervisor–Melting & Casting to lead daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safety and environmental compliance while driving operational efficiency. This role collaborates with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Operations to meet production goals and deliver world-class copper products for North America.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of leadership in heavy manufacturing, strong Lean and problem-solving skills, and experience with ERP systems and MS

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing leadership or production supervision.
• Experience in melting, casting, foundry or heavy industrial manufacturing preferred.
• Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, CI, Root Cause Analysis, and Safety Leadership.

Position Summary

The Production Supervisor – Melting & Casting is responsible for leading daily manufacturing operations within the Melting & Casting department. This position oversees production personnel, ensures compliance with all safety and environmental standards, drives operational efficiency, and partners with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Operations to meet production goals.

This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for achieving world-class performance in safety, quality, productivity, employee engagement, and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of manufacturing leadership or production supervision experience.
• Experience in melting, casting, foundry, copper, aluminum, steel, metals manufacturing, forging, extrusion, rolling, or heavy industrial manufacturing strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success leading production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Root Cause Analysis, and Safety Leadership.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office preferred.
