Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a Lead Coordinator, Development and Environmental in Knoxville, TN for a full-time role that supports construction and development projects. The position involves preparing executive presentations, compiling performance metrics, and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure timely project updates and regulatory compliance.

  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Education preferred: Associate’s Degree or Equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 3 years’ experience.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain executive-level presentations (e.g., PowerPoint) to communicate project updates, performance metrics, and key insights to senior leadership.
  • Support weekly and monthly reporting processes by compiling, analyzing, and validating data related to development and environmental projects.
  • Track and monitor the status of active construction projects, ensuring updates are accurate and aligned across systems and stakeholders.
  • Follow up on permits and regulatory requirements to ensure timely completion and compliance with development timelines.
  • Coordinate and participate in cross-functional meetings, documenting key updates, action items, and next steps.
  • Responsible for sorting incoming team mail and sending mail on behalf of leadership.
  • Responsible for the administration of maintaining licenses.
  • Scheduling calendar events for the department.
  • Act as a liaison across Construction and other internal teams to support communication and alignment.
  • Identify process gaps or inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and project tracking.
  • Build knowledge of Construction, Development, and Environmental functions to support ongoing operational effectiveness.
