Job summary

OBR Cooling Towers seeks a Service Foreman to support the Superintendent in scheduling, planning, coordinating, supervising, and cost control for cooling tower service activities nationwide. Extensive travel is required depending on project location.

The role emphasizes safety, crew leadership, and timely, quality project execution in diverse settings. Candidates should have strong OSHA safety background and hands-on field experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of field cooling tower service experience.
• Knowledge of Windows-based applications.
• OSHA 10 Certification.
• CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Forklift and man-lift certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, compliance with OBR policies, and fair application of procedures at the worksite.
• Oversee training, productivity, and performance of crews servicing cooling towers.
• Lead cooling tower technicians to ensure tasks assigned by the Superintendent are executed safely, efficiently, on time, and to OBR quality standards.
• Occasionally manage small projects independently in the absence of Superintendents and oversee field crew members.
• Lead daily and weekly safety meetings; complete incident reports as required.
• Perform and assist with preventative maintenance services for cooling towers.
• Complete service documents professionally and provide to customers.
• Manage customer objections and concerns in a professional way to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Perform work at heights while maintaining 100% tie-off when above 4 feet.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by Supervisors and Managers.
