Job summary

Concessions Intl Brand at St. Thomas Airport in USVI seeks a Lead Cook to support guest service by cooking, plating and maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced aviation dining setting.

You will train new cooks, supervise food preparation, and ensure compliance with brand guidelines and portion controls. This on-site role requires working flexible shifts and adherence to hygiene practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; six months or more related experience.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation and cooking skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and communicate information in English.
• Able to measure ingredients and monitor cooking temperatures.
• Must be able to stand and work in a fast-paced environment for 6-8 hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Cook and plate food according to production requirements and quality standards.
• Train new cooks and staff on company standards and procedures.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary work environment and monitor temperatures.
• Open/close side work and assist with daily prep lists.
• Follow safety and hygiene practices and report equipment malfunctions.
• Label, date and rotate all products per company standards.
