Job summary

Eurest is hiring a full-time Cook Supervisor for a Plano, TX location. The shift runs Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 3:30 pm, with a $20.00–$22.00 per hour wage. The role requires cooking experience and supervisory responsibilities over food-service staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a foodservice setting.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety practices.
• Cooking experience required for accurate meal preparation.

Responsibilities

• Trains employees; plans, assigns and directs work; evaluates performance; handles discipline.
• Advises management on purchasing to minimize waste and avoid shortages.
• Uses recipes and standards to ensure quality, temperatures, and portion control.
• Operates and cleans equipment according to procedures after each use.
• Stores, labels and dates foods; maintains rotation to minimize spoilage.
• Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure food safety.
• Operates food-service equipment safely and according to policy.
• Helps serve meals and collects customer feedback during service.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
