Job summary

Eurest is hiring immediately for a full-time Cook position at our Dallas facility located at Texas Instruments. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Requires at least 2 years of experience. Pay range is $22.00 to $24.00 per hour. Applications accepted online only.

Summary: Prepares food in accordance with federal, state and corporate standards, guidelines and regulations with established policies and procedures to ensure quality food service at all times.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring proper temperatures and appealing presentation.
• Uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains records from the area worked during service periods.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintains high cleanliness standards, stores or discards excess food per safe handling procedures.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat; ensures food and supplies are stored per standards.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed and assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting.
