Good Samaritan Scotland is seeking a dedicated cook to support hospital meal preparation in a not-for-profit setting. You will follow menus, prepare, cook, season and portion meals for patients, staff and visitors while upholding safety, quality and HACCP standards.

Leadershi p in the kitchen and accurate communication with teammates are essential. A high school diploma is preferred; Serv Safe may be required. Competitive benefits and daily earnings access are offered.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions. Basic math skills.
• Minimum of two years experience and leadership experience preferred, depending on location.
• On-the-job training will be provided; Serv Safe may be required within a designated time frame.

Responsabilidades

• Performs all duties in food preparation as assigned.
• Provides daily direction to cooks and other assigned areas.
• Prepares, cooks, seasons and portions food for patients/residents, staff and visitors.
• Adheres to HACCP guidelines to prepare, store and use food safely.
• Maintains labeling and storage of food, equipment and machinery.
• Operates kitchen equipment and collaborates with internal customers.
