Good Samaritan in Bismarck, ND is seeking a full-time cook to prepare and serve meals for patients, residents and staff. You will follow menus and HACCP guidelines, ensuring safety, quality, and timeliness in a dynamic hospital-like kitchen.

The role requires basic math, reading/writing skills, and the ability to work as part of a team. Shift is 6:00 am to 2:30 pm with every other weekend and holiday rotation; Serv Safe may be required depending on location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions. Basic math skills required.
• Two years experience and leadership experience preferred. On-the-job training provided.
• Serv Safe may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals for patients/residents, staff and visitors.
• Adhere to HACCP guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness in cooking and serving areas.
• Label and store food and manage equipment.
• Provide direction to cooks and support staff as needed.
