Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Preferred sanitation or safe food handling certification.
• Prior institutional/healthcare kitchen experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows recipes and prepares meals meeting residents' nutritional needs.
• Cooks meals in required quantities with proper presentation.
• Leads kitchen tasks, assembling trays, cleaning, and stock management.
• Maintains a clean food service area during preparation and service.
• Stores and handles food in compliance with procedures and regulations.
