Job summary

Powdr Corp. at Snowbird, UT is seeking a Lead Cook (Cook 3) to coordinate stations and liaise with front and back of house to deliver an outstanding dining experience. You will follow kitchen health and safety rules and maintain sanitation standards throughout shifts.

The role requires 2–4 years in a similar kitchen position, a Food Handler Permit, and the ability to work weekends and holidays. It offers full-time hours with benefits and opportunities within a dynamic mountain resort environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2-4 years of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence.
• Food Handler Permit.
• Knowledge of kitchen health and safety rules.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to work well under pressure with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Report to work on time in the proper uniform.
• Ensure standards of appearance and sanitation are maintained daily.
• Follow food quality, food safety, preparation, handling and nutrition procedures.
• Maintain good safety practices of employees throughout the kitchen.
• Participate in on-going employee training.
• Obtain assigned station from Chef at the beginning of the shift.
• Prepare food for your station and assist others as needed.
• Complete daily duties before and after the shift.
• Handle guest concerns professionally.
• Maintain communication between Chef, Sous Chef and kitchen staff.
