Job summary

Good Samaritan Albion is seeking a kitchen/cook role to prepare and serve meals for patients and staff in a not-for-profit environment. You will follow HACCP guidelines, manage portions, and ensure high standards of food quality and sanitation.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math, and strong teamwork. Two years of experience and leadership ability are preferred; Serv Safe may be required after hire. Competitive benefits and daily earnings access are offered.

• Two years of experience and leadership experience preferred depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, season and portion food for patients/residents, staff and visitors.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Ensure sanitation and cleanliness in cooking and serving areas.
• Operate kitchen equipment and adjust to menu requirements.
• Demonstrate teamwork and effective communication with internal customers.
