Job summary

Lucky Strike Entertainment in Matthews, NC is seeking a Lead Cook for part-time evening and weekend shifts. You will lead the kitchen in the absence of the Kitchen Manager, train staff, prepare and serve food, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 3–5 years of kitchen operations experience; a culinary or food management degree is a plus. Candidates must become certified in the venue's alcohol service and food safety programs

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of operational kitchen experience.
• Culinary or Food Management degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Acts as kitchen leader in the absence of the Kitchen Manager/Chef.
• Trains and supervises kitchen staff on procedures, sanitation, and safety.
• Plans and prepares food according to recipes and prep sheets, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Maintains sanitation and organization of cooking areas, storage, and serving areas.
• Receives and checks deliveries, rotates stock, and labels USE FIRST items.
• Works the food line, ensuring timely service and customer satisfaction.
• Assists colleagues with miscellaneous duties to prevent delays in service.
