Job summary

Four Seasons Lanai Resort is seeking a Cook III to join our on-island culinary team. You will prepare items to guest specifications, maintain quality, and manage your workstation with on-the-job training.

The role requires legal work authorization in the United States, Hawaii-specific certifications (TB clearance, ServSafe, and Food Handler’s Card), physical fitness for extended standing and lifting, and strong knife skills to perform multi-tasking across kitchen stations.

Qualifications

• Legal work authorization to work in the United States.
• Proficient knife skills and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items to guest specifications while maintaining quality and presentation standards.
• Complete mise en place and set up workstation for service periods.
• Independently manage an assigned kitchen station during preparation and service.
• Prepare items in advance to align with forecasted needs to prevent overproduction.
• Operate and clean kitchen equipment and ensure proper safety temperatures.
• Monitor par levels and assist in controlling food costs and waste reduction.
• Support inventory accuracy and participate in corrective actions.
