Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 3 years of cooking experience in a high-volume food establishment.
• Advanced culinary experience.
• Leadership readiness and supervisory experience preferred.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Food Safety Handler Certification
• Identification that establishes identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of assigned station including prep, service, and closing.
• Ensure station readiness prior to service.
• Maintain sufficient preparation and backup supplies to ensure seamless service.
• Execute complex cooking techniques including emulsions, reductions, braises, and precise finishing.
• Adjust methods based on ingredient quality and production needs.
• Manage pacing and timing of orders.
• Communicate clearly with kitchen team and call tickets when required.
• Support smooth workflow during peak periods.
• Train and coach junior cooks.
• Build prep lists and demonstrate proper techniques.
• Provide constructive feedback to improve performance.
• Monitor trim, spoilage, and overproduction.
• Identify trends and report issues to leadership.
