Job summary

BAC is seeking a cook to perform duties at Patrick Space Force Base: Riverside Dining, working under the site leadership team. The role involves preparing a variety of items and coordinating with staff to ensure timely service.

Responsibilities include training others, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and communicating progress and needs to management. The position requires ability to work with a diverse team and pass background, drug, and work authorization checks.

Qualifications

• Some commercial cooking experience required.
• Must pass a background screening for access to the work areas.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to Cook personnel, ensure work starts and pace is set.
• Use a full range of cooking procedures for meats, poultry, seafood, vegetables, sauces and gravies.
• Coordinate work to ensure everyone has adequate work and that instructions are followed.
• Prepare multiple menu items for one meal with planning to have all items ready to serve together.
• Keep management informed of operation status and training needs.
• Ensure safety and housekeeping procedures are followed on shift.
