Job summary

BAC Brevard in Satellite Beach, FL, is seeking a cook to perform duties at Patrick Space Force Base: Riverside Dining, delivering meals efficiently and safely.

You will report to the site leadership team and work as part of a team to prepare multiple menu items for service, while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires the ability to follow procedures, manage time, and communicate effectively with staff and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Some commercial cooking experience is required.
• Must pass a background screening for access to work areas.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to other Cook personnel and ensure work starts and pace is maintained.
• Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, vegetables, sauces and gravies.
• Coordinate work to ensure adequate workload and progress checks.
• Prepare multiple menu items for a meal so all are ready to serve at the same time.
• Keep management informed of activities, progress, delays, and training needs.
• Ensure safety and housekeeping procedures are followed on shift.
