Job summary

Benchmark Hospitality at Deloitte University Hotel & Conference Center in Westlake, TX is hiring Cook I for a high-volume, multi-kitchen environment. You will lead the culinary team, train others, and ensure dishes meet standard recipes across Banquet, Market, Albero, and Ember operations.

The role requires three years of culinary experience, culinary school preferred, and basic Food Safety certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the culinary team through monitoring production, training, and coaching.
• Prepare food and menu items according to standard recipes.
• Monitor production and quality levels of all food products.
• Assist in developing and presenting new menu items to ensure they stay fresh and innovative for our guests.
• Assisting in leading and participating in the preparation and execution of food in other kitchens within the hotel, as needed.
