Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality seeks a Cook II for Deloitte University Hotel & Conference Center, Benchmark Hospitality, in Westlake, Texas. The mid‑level cook will assist in prep, line, grille, and sauté across high‑volume kitchens including banquets and employee dining.

The position pays $20.25 per hour. Requirements include two years of cooking experience, culinary school preferred, international cuisine experience preferred, and basic Food Safety certification within 30 days of starting.

Qualifications

• Two years of cooking experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Culinary school preferred.
• Experience with International cuisines preferred.
• Guest contact and high-volume cooking experience preferred.
• Above average knife skills.
• Basic Food Safety certification within 30 days of starting position.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food and menu items according to standard recipes.
• Receive and store food requisitions and monitor quality.
• Inspect refrigeration and dry storage for proper handling and rotation.
• Ensure stations are set up for service and kept clean.
• Assist in other kitchens as needed (banquets, buffets, a la carte).
