Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England, is seeking an Evening Shift Cook to support patient meals, cafeteria service, and catering events. The role includes acting as Third Cook/Lead Cook and assisting in bake shop tasks as needed to meet operational needs.

You will produce meals for patients and guests, maintain production controls, and ensure safety and sanitation standards. Strong teamwork and adherence to hospital guidelines are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and culinary experience desirable (quantity food production and catering skills).
• Minimum of 2 solid years' experience in institutional production with catered events.
• Excellent quantity production and catering culinary skills.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety principles; able to follow written and verbal instructions and deliver strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Produces food for patients, cafeteria, catering events and satellite sites.
• Maintains production controls and ensures adequate food supplies for assigned areas.
• Maintains safety and sanitation standards in the department.
• Contributes to excellence following departmental and hospital guidelines.
