Job summary

North Conway Grand Hotel, part of Olympia Hospitality, is seeking a Lead Cook to prepare high quality meals in line with our standards, while guiding kitchen staff and following SOPs and safety protocols.

The role pays $24.00 per hour and includes a $400 sign-on bonus paid in two installments. We offer health insurance, 401K with discretionary match, paid holidays, travel discounts, and more to support your wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years grill experience.
• Experience leading and directing the work of others.
• Experience with receiving orders and inventory control helpful.
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Culinary Arts education preferred.
• Serve-Safe Certification and Allergy Awareness Training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Cook responsible for high quality meals per standards, menu specs, and schedules.
• Direct and instruct kitchen staff; delegate tasks across meal periods.
• Follow standard operating procedures and kitchen systems including logs and inventories.
• Maintain health and food safety programs per state and federal regulation.
