Job summary

Olympia Hospitality is seeking a Lead Cook to manage daily kitchen operations, ensure high-quality meals, and support the Executive Chef across breakfast, dinner, banquets, and events. You will train staff, monitor portions, and uphold food safety standards in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Requirements include a minimum of two years in grill/line cooking, with high school diploma or equivalent; culinary training preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of professional grill or line cooking experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience required.
• Culinary arts education or formal training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistent food quality and timely service.
• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and hotel specifications.
• Supervise, train, and direct kitchen staff as directed by the Executive Chef.
• Coordinate food prep and service for breakfast, dinner, banquets, and events.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety compliance.
• Assist with inventory management, receiving deliveries, and reducing waste.
