Westminster Communities of Florida in Jacksonville is seeking an experienced cook to support dining services at our Woods Julington Creek site. You will follow standardized recipes, set up workstations, and ensure timely service for residents in a high-volume setting.

The role requires English proficiency, a high school diploma or equivalent, and Florida Safe Staff certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days). Benefits include medical, vision, life and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Florida Safe Staff certification is required or obtainable within 90 days.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• 3+ years culinary experience in a high-volume, full-service dining environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office and data entry programs.
• Willingness to provide a leadership role.
• Basic understanding of food preparation methods.

Responsibilities

• Setup workstations according to established guidelines.
• Prepare all food items per standardized recipes.
• Distributes prepared food to all service areas accurately and consistently; restocks as needed.
• Cleans and maintains station following safety, sanitation and organization standards.
• Assist with cleaning, sanitation and organization of the kitchen and equipment.
