DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Chicago - North Shore Conference Center is seeking a passionate Lead Cook to join our hotel kitchen TEAM. You will help lead daily kitchen operations, prepare high-quality food, and ensure our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel, restaurant, or professional kitchen experience preferred.
• Strong culinary skills and a passion for great food.
• Ability to lead by example and work well with a TEAM.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Culinary education or formal training is a plus, but not required.
• Must have open availability, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support kitchen operations during your shift.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Help coordinate the kitchen TEAM and keep service running smoothly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist with inventory, food preparation, and proper product storage.
• Help train and support fellow TEAM members.
• Maintain consistent quality and presentation in every dish.
