Delaware North Sportservice at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle is seeking a part-time Lead Cook to join our kitchen leadership team. You will guide the prep, cooking, and storage to meet quality standards while monitoring quantities, labor, and costs.

This role requires 2+ years in culinary service, ability to read prep sheets and recipes, basic math for measurements, and strong verbal communication to lead kitchen staff. Weekly pay and a benefits package accompany a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in a culinary service role.
• Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the work of kitchen assistants in preparing, cooking, and storing food and maintaining kitchen and storage facilities.
• Ensure portions meet quality standards and follow department rules and procedures.
• Maintain proper food temperatures and safe storage of foods.
• Ensure freshness and proper packaging of all menu items.
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties per company guidelines.
• Follow health codes and sanitation regulations.
• Complete end-of-day inventory and other opening/closing duties per checklists.
