Job summary

Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel is seeking a Cook III to lead kitchen operations at Santa Ana Pueblo. The role requires advanced culinary skills, minimal supervision, and decision making in absence of the Sous Chef.

You'll work with the culinary team to maintain SOPs, health standards, and high-quality plating while ensuring timely service, staff coordination, and adherence to safety policies. A strong work ethic and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of prior culinary experience or a culinary degree.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Must be able to obtain Pueblo gaming license.
• Bi-lingual and multi-cultural experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and production lists to meet par levels.
• Maintain sanitation, hygiene, and food safety standards.
• Direct daily kitchen operations and supervise staff as needed.
• Assist in receiving deliveries and recording inventories.
• Prepare items according to recipes and plating procedures.
• Ensure food quality meets SASCH standards.
• Be flexible with schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Collaborate with culinary leadership to meet objectives.
