Job summary

Desert Diamond Casino White Tanks is seeking a Lead Cook/Saucier to supervise kitchen staff and prepare items per menus and prep sheets. You will ensure proper knife skills, food safety, and adherence to recipes while coordinating tasks among Cooks and Prep Cooks.

Applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED, 3+ years as a cook, 1+ year supervisory experience, and the ability to obtain a Food Handler’s Card. 18+, pass pre-employment checks, and maintain gaming licenses where required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred plus three years' experience as a cook.
• At least 1 year supervisory experience as Lead Cook/Saucier or equivalent.
• Must obtain a Food Handler’s Card.

Responsibilities

• Cook a variety of foods per menu and demand.
• Delegate tasks to Cooks, Prep Cooks, and Kitchen Stewards.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitized work areas per health regulations.
• Ensure all venues are ready to open by management-set times.
• Maintain and label all storage areas and equipment.
