Job summary

Hyatt Regency Frisco is seeking a culinary professional to oversee all kitchen operations, ensure timely, high-quality meals, and supervise staff across stations.

The role requires strong culinary education, cost control, and excellent communication and organizational skills; weekend availability and flexibility are needed.

Qualifications

• 4 years of previous line experience required; fine dining experience preferred.
• Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred.
• Candidates should be able to perform all basic and intermediate cooking skills.
• Able to work multiple stations in the kitchen.
• Requires moderate supervision and training.
• Must have open availability, including weekends and holidays. Shift schedules may include 2:00PM–10:30PM or 3:00PM–11:30PM.

Responsibilities

• Monitor food production, quality and consistency on a daily basis, including staffing levels and department training.
• Provide direction in the culinary supervisor absence and support the culinary team to meet guests' needs in a timely manner.

Hyatt Regency Frisco is conveniently located just 25 minutes north of Dallas, offering 303 guestrooms and 27,500 square feet of flexible event space. This 18-story hotel sits in the heart of Frisco, TX at Stonebriar Centre - steps away from Dr. Pepper Ballpark, Toyota Stadium (home of FC Dallas), the Frisco Discovery Center, and a variety of dining and entertainment options.

This culinary position requires In-depth skills and knowledge of all kitchen operations. Capable of producing a consistent product to meet and exceed guests' needs in a timely manner. On a daily basis must monitor food production, quality and consistency, staffing levels and department training. Skills and knowledge to include culinary education, cost control, communication skills, computer skills, organizational skills, guest contact experience and culinary teaching skills and knowledge. This person must be able to give direction in the culinary supervisor absence.
