Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living Mgmt Inc in Severna Park, MD seeks a Lead Cook to coordinate daily food production, ensuring meals meet quality, portion, and service standards, and to guide kitchen operations. You will work within a mission-driven dining team to support residents with consistency and care.

As Lead Cook, you will prepare meals from posted menus, supervise shifts when needed, ensure proper portions and dietary modifications, maintain production sheets, monitor inventory and safety

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate meals using standardized recipes and posted menus
• Support daily shift supervision in absence of Executive Chef or Dining Service Coordinator
• Ensure proper portioning, plate presentation, and dietary modifications
• Maintain accurate production sheets and temperature logs
• Monitor food storage, rotation (FIFO), and inventory controls
• Enforce food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards
• Maintain clean, organized kitchen and work areas
• Support compliance with federal and state regulations

Pay Range:17.95 - 22.45
