Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Cupertino, California is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare high-quality meals that support residents' health and enjoyment while maintaining a safe, clean kitchen. You will follow standardized recipes, ensure food quality and presentation, record temperatures, stock and store foods, and assist with dishwashing and dining service as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in institutional dining or healthcare settings preferred.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and portion controls.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation.

• Prepare and serve meals according to menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards.
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures.
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations.
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines.
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed.
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator.

Pay Range:

21.75 - 27.20
