Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Cook to prepare high-quality meals for residents in a safe, clean kitchen. You will follow standardized recipes, ensure proper food safety practices, and accommodate dietary needs.

In this role you may lead production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator and support dishwashing and dining service as needed. Sunrise emphasizes a caring, community-focused dining experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to prepare meals per standardized recipes and menus.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines.
• Capable of leading food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals following recipes and menus.
• Ensure meals meet quality, taste, and Sunrise standards.
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements.
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures.
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations.
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas.
• Complete cleaning logs and maintenance reports.
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed.
• Lead production when the Dining Services Coordinator is absent.
