Location & Pay:

  • Hiring Rate: $16.85/hr - $18.50/hr (up to $22.00/hr with Tips)
  • Hiring Rate: $13.00/hr - $14.50/hr (up to $18.00/hr with Tips)

LUN-A-TIC Position Summary

The Lead Cook is responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing and cooking menu items in accordance with Luna Grill recipes.

  • Prepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, grills, and fryers.
  • Knows and complies with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies and procedures.
  • Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to ensure smooth service.
  • Ports food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipes.
  • Maintains a clean and sanitary work station, including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, etc.
  • Assists in food prep during off-peak periods as needed.
  • Properly closes the kitchen following the closing checklist and assists others in closing.
  • Attends all scheduled team meetings and training, and suggests improvements.
  • Performs additional duties such as dishwashing and bussing as assigned.
