Job description

Job Overview: Train, supervise, and work with all kitchen staff to prepare, cook, and present food according to hotel standard recipes, ensuring high-quality food products.

  1. Assign detailed duties to employees for efficient kitchen operation.
  2. Select, train, and supervise kitchen staff in proper preparation of menu items.
  3. Ensure proper receipt, storage (including temperature control), and rotation of food to comply with health regulations.
  4. Adhere to control procedures for cost and quality management.
  5. Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items.
  6. Report equipment issues to Chef or Engineering for repair.
  7. Perform additional duties such as VIP parties and staff meetings.

Qualifications:

  1. Thorough knowledge of food products, recipes, and preparation methods.
  2. Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.
  3. Maintain a clean and safe working environment to prevent accidents.
