Job Title: Cook

ROP: $18-$21/hr. + $2,000 sign-on bonus

Status: Full Time

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Check and ensure an adequate supply of foods and seasonings.
  2. Verify that food is properly prepared for cooking and serving.
  3. Prepare sauces, gravies, and other foods of medium and higher complexity according to instructions.
  4. Operate various cooking stations and equipment.
  5. Recommend adjustments to menu cycles based on food quantities and demand.
  6. Maintain cleanliness of food preparation areas.
  7. Supervise activities of Cooks and Cooks II, providing guidance as needed.
  8. Organize cooking and food storage areas.
  9. Oversee carving station at banquets as assigned.
  10. Follow safety protocols and keep work areas clean and organized.
  11. Break down workstation, clean, and restock as necessary.
  12. Create specials for assigned outlets, utilizing both new and dated products.
  13. Ensure sanitation guidelines are followed as per local health department regulations.
  14. Open assigned outlets promptly as instructed by a Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine, or Executive Sous Chef.
  15. Maintain professional conduct at all times.
  16. Follow through on projects or tasks as assigned.
  17. Work various shifts, including holidays and weekends.
  18. Complete and pass a Food Service Sanitation course within one year of employment.
  19. Perform other duties as assigned.
