Job summary

Interstate Packaging is seeking a Converting Supervisor for the 2nd shift to manage packaging operations, uphold SOPs, and adjust processes to meet customer specifications. You will lead across shifts, ensure staffing, and drive efficiency and quality across daily production rates.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, plus experience with GMP and safety guidelines. Associates degree or related experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or related experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency with PC applications, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a shift operation and ensure staffing aligns with workload.
• Coordinate production to meet deadlines and changes.
• Communicate expectations and monitor results across shifts.
• Coach associates and enforce procedures and safety policies.
• Ensure compliance with quality, GMP, and safety standards.
• Identify and initiate corrective actions for deviations.
