LONG Building Technologies is seeking an experienced Controls Technician Lead to oversee troubleshooting and programming of temperature control systems on site. You will guide a team, coordinate with project managers and operations staff to ensure project success and client satisfaction.

Ideal candidates bring extensive experience in commercial HVAC control systems, strong leadership, and a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance while mentoring apprentices and improving technical

Qualifications

• 2 years computer/electronic technical degree or equivalent.
• 4 years temperature control system start-up, checkout, and service experience preferred (may have 6 years).
• Technical certifications in relevant systems are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting and programming of temperature control systems.
• Oversee on-site team, coordinate with project managers and field supervisors.
• Ensure safety and code compliance on all technical work.
• Provide training and mentoring to apprentices and junior technicians.
• Maintain project documentation and as-built records.
