LONG Building Technologies, Inc. is seeking a DDC/BAS Controls Technician Lead to oversee troubleshooting and programming of temperature control systems on-site, coordinating with project managers and operations.

Qualifications

• 2 years of computer/electronic technical degree or equivalent
• 4 years temperature control system start-up, checkout and service experience preferred
• Certifications in KMC, Distech, Tridium/Honeywell or equivalent
• Ability to drive legally and travel to job sites
• Expert programming and troubleshooting with control systems
• Strong analytical skills for software and integration challenges
• Interpretation of mechanical plans and specs
• Extensive HVAC/building automation knowledge and electrical systems

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshoot and programming of temperature control systems on-site.
• Coordinate with operations and project managers for scheduling and planning.
• Guide apprentices and junior technicians; ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical analysis and recommendations on warranty issues and project challenges.
