Job summary

GE Vernova in Greenville, SC seeks a Controls Platform System Integration Engineer to own the quality, cost, and capability of wind turbine control platforms. You will drive multi-disciplinary development and ensure robust controller designs aligned with product plans.

Requires a BS in engineering and 4+ years in embedded controls with real-time systems, plus ability to lead global projects and communicate complex technical concepts effectively.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Controls, Computer, or Electrical Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience with embedded controls systems and RTOS.
• Experience leading projects in a global, matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Assess automation needs vs trends and contribute to multi-generation technology plans.
• Develop high-level control system requirements and communicate to controls engineers.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to integrate system requirements into controller design.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans for on-time delivery.
• Oversee lifecycle cost tradeoffs to deliver required capability at competitive cost.
• Provide timely communication on significant technical issues or developments.
• Present or review technical and program reviews.
