Job summary

E Tech Group in West Chester, OH is seeking a Lead Engineer to provide technical leadership and develop customer IT automation and control solutions. You will design and implement integrated electrical and control systems and collaborate with engineering, production and field service teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, 5+ years in the controls industry, PLC/SCADA expertise, and willingness to travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
5+ years in the control system industry.
Strong understanding of controls systems.
Ability to develop PLC and HMI programs in AB/Studio 5000 or AVEVA/Ignition.
Experience with process automation and equipment integration.
Willing to travel up to 30% and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

Design and implement integrated electrical and control systems.
Work with engineering, design, production and field service staff.
Manage project budget and schedule requirements.
Develop overall system architecture for industrial control projects.
Specify and configure hardware components such as instrumentation, PLCs, communication systems and panels.
Perform functional testing of electrical and control systems.
Design and configure PLC/SCADA networks.
Generate test procedures and forms.
Coordinate start-up activities with ETG, contractors and owner personnel.
Represent the company values and focus on customer success.
