Job summary

E Tech Group in West Chester, OH is seeking a Lead Engineer to lead design and implementation of integrated electrical and control systems for client projects. You will collaborate with engineering, design, production, and field service staff to deliver robust automation solutions.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in the control system industry, strong PLC/HMI programming skills (AB Studio 5000, AVEVA/Ignition), and a proven track record in project delivery and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in the control system industry.
• Strong understanding of controls systems.
• Experience developing PLC and HMI programs in AB/Studio 5000 and AVEVA/Ignition.
• Experience with industrial process automation and instrumentation.
• Willing to travel up to 30%.
• DNA of collaboration and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design and implementation of integrated electrical and control systems.
• Work cooperatively with engineering, design, production, and field service staff.
• Responsible for aspects of project budget and schedule requirements.
• Develop overall system architecture for industrial control projects.
• Specify and configure hardware components such as instrumentation, PLCs, and control panels.
• Perform functional testing of electrical and control systems.
• Design and configure PLC/SCADA networks.
• Generate test procedures and forms.
• Coordinate start-up activities with ETG, contractors and owner personnel.
• Be an ambassador who embodies our Core Values, prioritizing success of ETG and clients.
