Job summary

Hanley Energy is seeking a Controls Engineer to join a fast-growing team responsible for developing and managing critical infrastructure projects. You will lead hands-on installation, testing, and commissioning, while coordinating with customers and vendors to meet scope and timelines.

The role requires strong leadership, project management, and superb communication skills, along with engineering expertise across electrical and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

  • 4 year engineering degree from an accredited university.
  • 4 years of experience in a technical field.
  • Willing to travel up to 25% to support other regions.
  • Able to be primary on-call technician and available during non-working hours.
  • Experience with data centers or other critical environments.
  • Experience with electrical/mechanical installation and HVAC/BMS is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • System installation, checkout, integration, testing, and commissioning.
  • Assist with planning and designing critical infrastructure projects.
  • Perform programming and deployment of critical infrastructure projects.
  • Train other team members as part of an ongoing team development effort.
  • Communicate and coordinate with customer and other vendors to complete our scope of work.
