Roles and Responsibilities
- Work with Sales to develop proposals and business engagements for yourself and your team.
- Define complex solutions for multiple system integration projects, assign teams, monitor, and support projects, create, support technical standards, handle project scheduling, planning, and oversight.
- Interface with project teams and clients to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Lead a team of controls engineers and technicians through the entire project life cycle including conception, proposal, specification, development, integration, testing, and start‑up.
- Identifying hiring needs, filling job openings, identifying future hiring needs, writing job descriptions, sourcing candidates, and conducting interviews.
- Develop training objectives and strategies.
- Determine project workloads.
- Schedule activities and staff accordingly.
- Help develop and modify methods and procedures.
- Clearly and effectively communicate project updates.
- Make an impact day‑to‑day with your skills and expertise, strengthening that relationship with our clients and team.
Knowledge, Skills, and Education
- High School Diploma
- 4 years of experience in a technical field.
- Prior experience working with:
- System Installation, Checkout, Integration, Testing and Commissioning Support
- Ignition Training
- ProCore
- Programming IPCs, HMIs, PLCs, Managed Switches, PQM’s etc.
- System integration.
- PLC programming
- SCADA creation
- Networking
- Troubleshooting
- Mechanical and/or Electrical Installation
Job Qualifications: Required
- Excellent leadership, teamwork, partnering, and mentoring abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- Excellent IT Skills. Use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. all essential.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and diplomacy skills.
- A minimum of five years of technical industry experience.
- The skills to oversee projects that incorporate engineering, design, and programming of integrated and automated manufacturing systems.
- A willingness to travel for project requirements including installation and start‑up activities, client and company sponsored meetings, trainings, industry related seminars, forums, and conventions.
- Health & Safety and Environmental policies, by demonstrating correct behaviors and leading by example.
- Liaising with PMO department for regular project updates and correspondence to ensure all projects are executed to a high‑level standard in the CMH region.
- A self‑driven individual, with a can‑do attitude, and a desire for operational excellence.
