The Lead Controls Engineer provides technical leadership for control system projects, ensuring the successful implementation of advanced automation solutions. This role involves overseeing a team of engineers, managing project timelines, and driving innovation in automation technology.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and oversight for all control system projects at E-Solutions.
  • Design, implement, and optimize large-scale automation solutions using Honeywell Niagara.
  • Lead a team of controls engineers, assigning tasks and ensuring project milestones are met.
  • Develop and enforce best practices for control system programming, commissioning, and maintenance.
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for clients and stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement emerging technologies to improve control system performance and capabilities.
  • Conduct training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives for the engineering team.
  • Architect and oversee the development of HMI and SCADA solutions for improved visualization, analytics, and system control.
  • Oversee commissioning of equipment in the field at customer locations across the country.

Required Skills/Abilities: (examples include:)

  • Proven track record of leading teams and managing complex automation projects.
  • Deep expertise in Honeywell Niagara, industrial networking, cybersecurity, and advanced control strategies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work with executives, clients, and multidisciplinary teams to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for project execution and customer support.

Willingness to travel for fieldwork and commissioning.

Education/Qualifications (examples include:)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in automation or control systems.
