About the Role:

We’re seeking an experienced Lead Controls Engineer to guide complex automation and control system projects from concept to completion. You’ll serve as the technical lead, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate directly with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver robust, scalable control solutions.

What You'll Do:

• Lead design, development, and implementation of control systems for manufacturing and automation projects
• Program PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) and HMIs; debug and troubleshoot system integration
• Interface with electrical, mechanical, and software teams to align on project scope and execution
• Prepare and review schematics, panel layouts, and BOMs
• Oversee FAT/SAT and lead commissioning efforts at customer sites
• Mentor and support junior controls engineers
• Ensure quality and compliance with applicable standards

What You Bring:

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in controls/automation engineering
• Proven expertise in PLC/HMI programming and industrial network protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, etc.)
• Experience leading control systems projects from start to finish
• Ability to travel occasionally for commissioning/startup support
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering Discipline
