Job summary

X4 Engineering is seeking a Controls Commissioning Lead for a hyperscale data center project in Las Vegas, NV. You will own the controls commissioning scope, coordinate testing, and lead a team across BMS/BAS, PLCs and integrated systems.

You’ll report to the consultancy’s leadership, work with client and contractors, and help drive commissioning standards as the business expands in mission-critical environments. Las Vegas-based role with lucrative base and overtime.

Qualifications

• Strong background in controls engineering and commissioning.
• Experience with BMS/BAS, PLCs and HVAC controls.
• Experience in mission-critical or data center environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead controls commissioning across data center projects.
• Review and validate BMS, BAS, PLC and controls systems.
• Develop commissioning procedures, test scripts and functional tests.
• Support IST and failure-mode testing.
• Troubleshoot complex controls and integration issues.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, controls and commissioning teams.
• Provide technical leadership to engineers, contractors and project teams.
