Responsibilities include motion control, robotics, vision systems, and HV/HV pneumatics with PLC/HMI programming.

Qualifications

• Experience with data acquisition systems and PLCs (Automation Direct, Allen-Bradley, Omron…)
• Designing and executing robotics and automation solutions including cell design and safety considerations
• Drawing electrical schematics using AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical and Visio
• Creating mechanical drawings using Inventor
• Designing and implementing industrial machines
• Experience with LabVIEW and industrial sensors

Responsibilities

• Participates in cost and level of effort estimates for new product launches and projects
• Interfaces with customers and visits customer locations as needed
• Mentor and lead engineers on projects across departments
• Designs and maintains electrical control systems for hydraulic and pneumatic presses
• Develops electrical and mechanical design architectures and standards
• Collaborates with Product, Manufacturing, Quality, and Maintenance engineers
